"As you know, Tom, I have come to see you for professional services on three separate sets of occasions. My visits date back to probably the early 1990's, although you and I have known one another for much longer. Each time I wound up at your office for help, I received exactly what I was looking for: relief from my problem. It was the same problem really, revisiting me over a period of fifteen years or so. With each episode, I doggedly pursued relief through the modalities that I practice and promote--chiropractic and homeopathy. "I was treated by Tom Williams for a painful rib condition caused by using a weed eater for an extended period of time. I could hardly bend over to tie my shoes.

This problem resisted several trips to the chiropractor, rest, massage, and plenty of pain pills. I had been hearing a lot of positive things about acupuncture, including the fact that some insurance companies were actually covering this form of therapy. While still somewhat skeptical, I felt I had little to lose by giving acupuncture a try. And, I was curious to see what a session was like.

So, I had one treatment which was interesting, but not an immediate relief. I left Tom's office feeling pretty much the same as when I arrived.
